Maya Hawke, the breakout star of Stranger Things and daughter of Hollywood royalty, has tied the knot with singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson.
The couple exchanged vows in a surprise ceremony on February 14, 2026, turning the holiday of love into their official anniversary. According to People, the intimate celebration was filled with family, friends, and plenty of familiar faces.
Here is everything we know about the wedding.
A “Stranger Things” Reunion

While the wedding was a private affair, the guest list read like a call sheet for a hit Netflix show. The ceremony served as a massive reunion for the cast of Stranger Things.
According to reports, the following Hawkins residents were in attendance to support their co-star:
- Finn Wolfhard
- Gaten Matarazzo
- Caleb McLaughlin
- Sadie Sink
- Natalia Dyer
- Charlie Heaton
- Joe Keery
Naturally, the bride’s famous parents were also front and center. Uma Thurman stunned in a light blue gown, while Ethan Hawke opted for an all-black look. Maya’s brother, Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, was also present for the special day.
The Look: Winter Bridal Chic

Maya Hawke has never been one to follow a traditional path, and her wedding attire was no exception. The actress and musician wore a white wedding dress styled with a statement piece: an oversized, feathery winter coat to brave the February chill.
The groom, Christian Lee Hutson, kept it classic in a traditional tuxedo.
From Friends to Soulmates
The couple’s journey to the altar began through a shared love of music. They first crossed paths several years ago while collaborating. Hutson, a talented musician who opened for Phoebe Bridgers on tour, appeared on Hawke’s 2024 album, Chaos Angel.
Hutson confirmed their engagement in March 2025 during an interview with SoCal Sound Sessions, and the couple made their red carpet debut shortly after in New York City.
Hawke has previously spoken about the joy of falling in love with a collaborator and friend. Speaking on The Zach Sang Show in July 2025, she gushed about their dynamic:
“It’s awesome. I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It’s the best,” she said. “They really know you as a person who has feelings… not just a piece of paper for them to project their image of perfect girlfriend onto.”
