Singer and actress Paloma Faith has announced the arrival of her third child, a “perfect and wonderful” baby boy, following a challenging delivery and a stay in intensive care.
The 44-year-old star shared the news with her 1.1 million Instagram followers on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, confirming that her son arrived slightly ahead of schedule on Friday, March 6.

A “Painful” Recovery and NICU Stay
In a characteristically candid social media post, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer shared a black-and-white photo holding her newborn’s hand. She revealed that the baby spent three days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before the family was cleared to head home.
“Today we go home! As usual it’s not easy… I’m engorged already, day three intrusive thoughts, in love with my partner and my kids more than ever. Just taking it all slow. C-sections ARE PAINFUL. He’s perfect and wonderful. Breastfeeding is hard.”
Faith extended her “incredible” gratitude to the midwifery team at Miss Claire Mellon & Associates who supported her through the birth.
Growing the Family: A First for Paloma and Stevie
While the baby is Paloma’s third child, he is her first with her partner, music venue director Stevie Thomas. The couple went public with their relationship in early 2024. The new arrival joins Paloma’s two daughters, aged nine and four, from her previous relationship with French artist Leyman Lahcine.
The singer has long been open about her arduous path to motherhood, which has included:
- Six rounds of IVF to conceive her second daughter.
- A history of birth complications, including an emergency C-section in 2016 that left her unable to walk for three months.
- Postpartum struggles, having previously spoken about her experiences with postnatal depression.

Celebrity Support from ‘The Traitors’
Paloma’s pregnancy was first announced in October 2025, shortly after her appearance on the inaugural UK series of The Celebrity Traitors. The show’s cast and fans were quick to flood her announcement with love:
- Alan Carr, her close friend who “murdered” her in plain sight during the competition (and went on to win), wrote: “Oh how wonderful ❤️ congratulations darling!”
- Claudia Winkleman, the show’s host, added: “Massive congratulations, brilliant news. All love.”
- Other well-wishers included Jesy Nelson, Fearne Cotton, and Kate Garraway.
